Aberdeen Toy Fair – Sat 16th October

*

Regular readers of this website (your poor devils) will know of my obsession with action figures, Warhammer, D & D, etc etc. You will also know that as a (young) child of the 70’s I was besotted with a certain TV series featuring a Bionic Man and, by proxy, what became my childhood pride and joy – a Six Million Dollar Man action figure. Sadly, that action figure disappeared from my life many moons ago – so you can imagine my delight at seeing a local event just down the road from me in Aberdeen.

The Aberdeen Toy Fair, originally planned for July and had sold out but unfortunately had to be postponed due to COVID, takes place this weekend with at least 70 vendors situated on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the Richard Donald Stand at Aberdeen’s Pittodrie stadium.

The event’s host Christopher Plant said in Aberdeen’s Press and Journal newspaper:

“We’ve tried to include everybody, so you’ve got adult collectors right through to children or people looking for a bit of nostalgia. There is something for everyone, whether it’s wrestling, Pokemon, Transformers, there’s something there to cover all ages.”

The event’s online tickets have now sold out, however, there will be some tickets available on the doors between 10am and 3pm and will cost £3. You can find out more about the event RIGHT HERE
