After the resounding success of Comic Con Scotland North East in Aberdeen in 2022, Monopoly Events was excited to announce its next instalment in the brand new state-of-the-art events venue, P&J Live on 18-19 March 2023.

The very first Comic Con Scotland NE took place in the spring of 2022 and we knocked it out of the park with an event to remember for comic, tv, and film culture fans across the globe as we brought you a phenomenal guest line-up including Harry Potter star Mark Williams,  Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones star John Rhys-Davies, The Walking Dead and GTA star Steven Ogg, Robocop himself Peter Weller, Wrestling Superstars Booker T, and Grado, Child’s Play star Alex Vincent, Back to the Future star Claudia Wells, Flight of the Navigator star Joey Cramer, Game of Thrones star Clive Russell, the Star Wars/Harry Potter legend that is Warwick Davis and his family daughter Annabelle and son Harrison, Still Game stars Paul Riley, Sanjeev Kohli, Gavin Mitchell, and Jane McCarry, voice acting superstars J. Michael Tatum, Brandon McInnis, Emily Neves, Jad Saxton, and Lewis MacLeod. Star Wars legends Tim Rose, Paul Blake, Mike Quinn, and Angus MacInnes, and finally UK Gladiator legends Diane ‘Jet’ Youdale, James ‘Hunter’ Crossley, Helen ‘Panther’ O’Reilly, Michael ‘Cobra’ Wilson, and Suzanne ‘Vogue’ Cox!

A guest line-up that was truly unimaginable – and as always – it’s all by the fans for the fans.

When we came to Scotland, our commitment to the Scottish public was that we promised to bring the best pop culture events north of the border, and we are sticking to that promise, after an incredible first outing the public of Aberdeen have truly embraced this event and we look forward to an event bigger event in 2023.”

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – ROSS MARQUAND
Roscoe Wayne Marquand is an American actor. He has played Aaron on the television series The Walking Dead since 2015, Red Skull and Ultron in various projects connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and has voiced numerous characters on the streaming television series Invincible (2021).

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – SYLVESTER MCCOY
Sylvester McCoy, is a Scottish actor. He became best known for playing the seventh incarnation of the Doctor in the long-running science fiction television series Doctor Who from 1987 to 1989—the final Doctor of the original run—and briefly returning in a television film in 1996. He is also known for his work as Radagast in The Hobbit film series (2012–2014).

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – NOLAN NORTH
Nolan North is an American actor best known for his voice acting roles.
After his breakthrough role as Dr. Chris Ramsey on the ABC soap opera Port Charles in 1997, North moved into voice acting when the show ended in 2003 and has since become best known for his video game roles as Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, Desmond Miles in the Assassin’s Creed series, Merasmus in Team Fortress 2, the Prince in Prince of Persia (2008), Dr. Edward Richtofen in the Call of Duty Zombies mode, Deadpool in various Marvel Comics media, the Penguin in the Batman: Arkham franchise, Captain Martin Walker in Spec Ops: The Line, David in The Last of Us, himself as one of the voices for the player character in Saints Row IV, Tony Stark in Marvel’s Avengers, and Ghost in the Destiny video game series.
In animation, North voices Smokescreen on Transformers: Prime and Superboy on Young Justice.

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – ALEC UTGOFF
Alec Utgoff is a British actor. He pursued acting and graduated from the prestigious Drama Centre London. He is known for playing the role of Aleksandr Borovsky in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and Dr. Alexei in the third season of Stranger Things.

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – KIM COATES
Kim F. Coates is a Canadian–American actor who has worked in both Canadian and American films and television series. He has worked on Broadway portraying Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire and in the lead role of Macbeth performed at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He is best known for his role as Alexander “Tig” Trager in the FX series Sons of Anarchy and as Declan Gardiner in the Citytv series Bad Blood, as well as his recurring roles in Prison Break, Cold Case, CSI and CSI: Miami. He has also had film roles in The Last Boy Scout (1991), Bad Boys (1995), King of Sorrow (2006), Goon (2011).

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – SOPHIE ALDRED
Sophie Aldred is an English actress and television presenter. She has worked extensively in children’s television as a presenter and voice artist. She played the Seventh Doctor’s companion, Ace, in the television series Doctor Who during the late 1980s, becoming the final companion in the series’ first run.

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – CHANDLER RIGGS
Chandler Riggs is an American actor and DJ, best known for his regular role as Carl Grimes on the AMC horror-drama television series The Walking Dead (based on the comic book series of the same name) from 2010 to 2018. For his work on the series, Riggs won three Saturn Awards from five nominations and a Young Artist Award from three nominations.
Riggs has appeared in the films Get Low (2009), Mercy (2014), Keep Watching (2017), Only (2019), and Inherit the Viper (2019).

Walter Jones is an American actor, martial artist and dancer, known for playing the role of Zack Taylor, the original Black Ranger on the hit television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
He also appeared in successful television shows including Family Matters, Step by Step, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Moesha, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Early Edition, NYPD Blue, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Off Centre and The Shield.
He played in movies including Backyard Dogs (2000), House of the Dead 2 (2005), and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016).
He gave his voice talent to animated movies including Open Season 2 (2008) and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013).

Dante R. Basco is an American film, television and voice actor. He is best known for his role as Rufio, the leader of the Lost Boys in Steven Spielberg’s Hook, and Julian Lee in Fakin’ da Funk, and for his many voice acting roles, most notably as Prince Zuko from Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, General Iroh II, Zuko’s grandson, in The Legend of Korra, Shingo in EA’s Skate., Jake Long from Disney Channel’s American Dragon: Jake Long, Fukushima in Kim Possible, Kwok Wong in the Proud Family, Jingmei in The Boondocks, Kenny Rodgers in Firebreather, Tuck in Generator Rex, Scorpion in Ultimate Spider-Man, Jai Kell in Star Wars Rebels, Cheddar in We Bare Bears Javier in Victor and Valentino, and Spin Kick from Carmen Sandiego.

COMIC CON SCOTLAND (NORTH EAST) GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – PETER DAVISON
Peter Davison, is an English actor with many credits in television dramas and sitcoms. He made his television acting debut in 1975 and became famous in 1978 as Tristan Farnon in the BBC’s television adaptation of James Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small stories.
Davison’s subsequent starring roles included the sitcoms Holding the Fort (1980–1982) and Sink or Swim (1980–1982), the fifth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who (1981–1984), Dr. Stephen Daker in A Very Peculiar Practice (1986–1988) and Albert Campion in Campion (1989–1990). He also played David Braithwaite in At Home with the Braithwaites (2000–2003), “Dangerous” Davies in The Last Detective (2003–2007) and Henry Sharpe in Law & Order: UK (2011–2014).

Paul John McGann is an English actor. He came to prominence for portraying Percy Toplis in the television serial The Monocled Mutineer (1986), then starred in the dark comedy Withnail and I (1987), which was a critical success and developed a cult following. McGann later became more widely known for portraying the eighth incarnation of the Doctor in the 1996 Doctor Who television film.
