So what do we think?……
Firstly, from a purely aesthetic standpoint, EKSA E900 (Lords Mobile) Gaming Headset is undoubtedly striking in appearance, with it’s brand new exclusive new purple colour scheme contrasting beautifully with the metal frame and predominantly black ear muffs and headband. The headset is gorgeous, it’s as simple as that.

The ear cups/muffs (or whatever you wish to call them) have an ultra-thick padding that the makers promise that “provide comfort and usability, the earmuffs allow for complete noise-cancellation, so users can focus in on the sounds of their games’….. And for the most part that is true with a degree of comfort that I’ve rarely experienced with other sets, the padding and material mould nicely to one’s face with no hint of annoyance or discomfort. The head band also adds to the overall comfort due to it being almost fully covered in thick black rubber padding.

As for the “complete noise-cancellation”… well that’s pretty 100% accurate, through the occasion outside sound occasionally peeped through – though that may be more due to my particular head that never ever seems to fully conform to headwear of any sorts. Creating the headset directly with Lords Mobile, it boasts several optimisation features made specifically for the game with upgraded 50mm drivers to unlock greater sonic detail, depth, and clarity promise to allow for the battle videos featured throughout Lords to be even more immersive for gamers.

Another of EKSA’s claims, namely that “owing to the enhanced audio quality of the headset, players can accurately identify the location of various in-game sounds, whether it is a gentle footstep or an enemy gunshot”. Once again, I can say that this bold claim is pretty much on the ball as I tested the headphones, not alas playing Lords Mobile, but God of War……and the quality and clarity of sound is genuinely palpable. In addition I decided to connect the headset to my trusty iMac and dive into a classic Rock rabbit hole (easily done) and all I can say is that Asia’s ‘Heat of the Moment’ has never ever sounded so spine-tingling awesome!

EKSA’s E900 features a high-sensitivity detachable and flexible microphone with unidirectional noise reduction, so users can have clear conversations with their teammates whilst gaming. Through minimizing background noise, the microphone allows for natural sounding conversations to take place whilst in-game. The microphone also includes volume adjustment and a one-button microphone mute switch on headset cable, as well as being fully detachable, so if users do not need it, they can simply remove it to adjust to their needs.

The E900 Stereo headset uses a fixed 3.5mm audio cable, making it compatible with PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and any device with a 3.5mm jack including mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. The headset is packaged together with a black carry pouch and 3.5mm cable splitter for additional functionality.

So, is the EKSA E900 (Lords Mobile) Gaming Headset worth a purchase?
Overall, this a lovely looking and well-designed example of gaming kit. The sound quality is excellent for using in game and also connected to a Pc or Mac…….The one downside of the product is that there’s no USB connection or Bluetooth option and so could be argued to limit some of the ‘wandering around the room’ tendencies that this here geek has when podcasting, gaming or zooming. However, this is but a personal minor quibble – I would have no hesitation in recommending this product for your gaming and PC/Mac needs.
