Ep 156 : 5D Pop Culture Podcast – Who’s the Daddy?

*

In the 5DNEWS section this week there’s a little bit of a catch up after the 5D/Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival mash-up which featured a guest appearance from iconic actor, Vernon Wells. There’s also a bit of chat about actress Marina Sirtis, who displayed what a classy lady she is when I spoke briefly with her during the week. Essentially, the plan was to put the actress through a typically challenging and thought-provoking 5D interview, the intensity of which she had probably never experienced before in her illustrious career. Yes, yes – I know what you’re really thinking, that my usual interview technique of ‘Tell me why you’re so fab?!” has actually been my usual trusting method….. However, co-host Zack was unable to make it and had asked me to pass on his regrets, as well as advising her that she was one of the two loves of his life…..well as soon as I said that to her she immediately suggested that we re-schedule to a time when he was available – what a classy gal!

The news section also features a brief but exciting glimpse this week, courtesy of Henry Cavill, who dropped a brief (very brief) teaser of goings-on in the 2nd series of The Witcher. There’s also chat about the re-launch of the troubled Cyberpunk 2077 later this weeks, complete with some bug fixes…..apparently.
Also, with our finger on the proverbial social pulse we thought that is today is Fathers Day that it would be cool to talk about a few examples from the world films & TV about some good, and maybe not so good, father type figures.

In the main review section we look at the much anticipated addition to the Marvel TV stable – Loki……. And beware, there be spoilers matey!
