It’s a definite special type of podcast this week as actress Marina Sirtis joins us for a telephone conversation. The interview essentially should have actually taken place last week, the plan was to put the actress through a typically challenging and thought-provoking 5D interview, the intensity of which she had probably never experienced before in her illustrious career. Yes, yes – I know what you’re really thinking, that my usual interview technique of ‘Tell me why you’re so fab?!” has actually been my usual trusting method.
However, co-host Zack was unable to make it and had asked me to pass on his regrets, as well as advising her that she was one of the two loves of his life…..well as soon as I said that to her she immediately suggested that we re-schedule to a time when he was available – what a classy gal!

So it was a case of Marina Sirtis; Take 2 – in which we talked about her reasons for moving back to the UK after 30+ years of living in the States, her West End appearance in Dark Sublime a couple of years ago…and yes, of course there’s a little bit of chat about Star Trek: The Next Generation and her recent reprisal of Deanna Troi in Star Trek: Picard. The conversation is all nicely rounded off with some football talk as Marina talks about her love of Spurs we counter with our love of Leeds United.
