PRESS RELEASE SOURCE: GLASS CANNON NETWORK

*

It’s a HUGE DAY at the Glass Cannon Network as we not only dropped our new branding and logos but also launched a brand new website! If that wasn’t enough, today is the day we’re unveiling the casts for all of the shows we’re doing as part of Gen Con 2022, including both Glass Cannon Live! shows, both Gen Con shows and all 14 shows in our first ever booth. Speaking of which, we hope to see you early and often parked outside of Booth #174 on the Gen Con Exhibition Room floor helping us draw crowds and spread that sweet, sweet Naish love!

*

Not only are we sponsored by Patreon this year, but so much of what we’re doing at Gen Con is to raise awareness of the brand to get new people SUBSCRIBING to our Patreon. In fact, we’re going to be running contests all Gen Con long where new subscribers will be entered to win daily prizes and anyone who makes the jump to a DISCOUNTED annual subscription will be entered to win the grand prize of four-day badges to Gen Con 2023! Be sure to watch on Twitch as we announce the prizes and winners all weekend long!

Day 1

Set your alarms for Thursday, August 8th, at 10:15AM ET because we are coming out swinging! Thanks to our good buddies at Paizo, your old pal Troy Lavallee will be giving you a first look at the new classes and adventures in Pathfinder 2E’s Dark Archive. In the first of two installments, Troy is going to try to kill (or at least demoralize) Skid and Joe along with first-time guests Michelle Nguyen Bradley and Jason Charles Miller. If you are at the Con, make this your first stop of the day and show your good time pals some love. If you can’t make it to Indy, join us on Twitch while you eat your breakfast. Crits and Grits? Frittatas and Fumbles? We’ll see ourselves out.

*

Immediately following the Paizo stream, the GCN welcomes Drew Foulke and Eric Daniels from Norse Foundry for a little chat. Join Indy Joe as he gets some pointers on how to properly roll a d20 from the professionals. Plus, you can get the scoop on all the exclusive items you can find at their two Gen Con booths—#543 and #2703—like their SICK Gen Con exclusive dice sets!! Day 2

Move over American Ninja Warrior. We’re starting Day Two with a show at Gen Con where Troy LavalleeBecca ScottSkid MaherJoe O’BrienNoura Ibrahim and Jared Logan run through an RPG obstacle course…of the mind! What does that mean?! Who knows! The event is SOLD OUT, but if you’re one of the lucky few in the audience, you’ll be a part of the show too as a simple d100 roll stands in the way of the best idea for a live show ever or the worst! Either way, something crazy is about to go down to kick off Day Two of Gen Con!

*

While that dog and pony show is happening at the Westin, we’ve got a little D&D 5e side action happening back at GCN HQ. Paula Deming is running an all-bard party through the paces, featuring GCN first timer Harli Kane along with Erik MonaClinton Trucks and Matty Caps! D&D at the Glass Cannon Network Booth? Hey listen, some people like crunchy peanut butter and some people like creamy. We like putting asses in the seats and crushing it on the reg. So let’s fucking go!

*

It’s a pop-up Fod at the GCN pop-up Twitch studio! Erik Mona, fresh off playing his competitor’s game with us, is going to stick around and talk to your old buddy Indy Joe. We will get to catch up with Erik and find out all about the exciting things Paizo has planned for Gen Con 2022 and beyond. Join us in person at the booth or on Twitch. We will take questions from the chat as always and maybe some live audience participation?! What happens at Booth #174 stays at Booth #174, am I right?

*

Hey!! It’s time for our second Gen Con show of the day. This time it’s Blades in the Dark LIVE as the Busted Mufflers return! This one is also SOLD OUT! (#humblebrag) Be there Friday at 2PM in the Convention Center at ICC 101–103 when TroyJoeSkid, Matthew, first-time Muffler Josephine McAdam and GM Jared Logan get their Devil’s Bargains on. If you caught the show last year, you caught THE show of the con. Who knows what’s going to go down this year, but to those of you who got tickets—you are in for a good time! AND this show will be broadcast on the Gen Con Twitch channel, so you can feel like you’re there even if you’re at home or a job with low supervision!

*

I am the Law! Matthew is breaking out the Jenga tower and taking the reins as TroyJoe, and Skid—alongside Rules Lawyer David Winters, who is making his triumphant return—play some Dread. Our friends at Syrinscape will turn the fear factor up to 11 with their custom-created soundscapes. Looking to improve the mood of your games? If you’re at the Con, head on over to Syrinscape’s booth #1740 and say hi! You can also pop on to Syrinscape.com to buy a soundset or even sign up for a subscription!

*

*

Day 3

Join Indy Joe as he sits down with Adam Bradford from Demiplane to talk about how digital TTRPG platforms like Demiplane are revolutionizing the industry, allowing even more people to play remotely or in person. You’ll get a chance to learn how these tools have evolved and what Adam sees as the future of the industry. Demiplane is doing amazing things to take your game to the next level, so if you’re ready to level up, don’t miss this interview with one of the best guys we’ve met in the past seven years. And Joe.

*

So you like Blades in the Dark, do ya? How about Blades in Space!!?!? Your host Jared Logan is joined by Matthew, Josephine McAdamHarli Kane and Noura Ibrahim to play Evil Hat Productions’ Scum and Villainy. Blasters? Check. Adventure? Absolutely. Shady deals? You know it. When Jared is running a crew like this, anything can happen. Stop by the GCN pop-up Twitch studio at Booth #174 and see for yourself!

*

Perhaps it’s time to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the con and take in a light matinee. Or you can crush some bloodies and crafties at the 2PM Glass Cannon Live! show back at Helium Comedy Club! Joining TroyJoeSkid and Matthew is Tiny Murder Klowne himself Erik Mona for a show we’d bet $100 you don’t want to miss. Believe it or not, there are still a couple VIP and GA tickets left, but they are moving fast every day leading up to the con. The second GCL show of the week is always a doozy, so we’ll see you for a bottomless brunch at Helium. Play your cards right, we might go topless, too!

*

Meanwhile, back at the booth, Jared Logan keeps the good times rolling as he takes on the roll of Keeper for one of his all time favorites—Call of Cthulhu. Joining him in this original adventure set in 1920s Leicester, England, are Alicia MarieNoura IbrahimPaula Deming and GCN newbie Amy Vorpahl! Having just survived three days of madness at Gen Con, a little run-in with some incomprehensible horrors should be no problem for this crew. If you are at the Con, you have to stop by Chaosium’s booth #411. Just don’t lose yourself gazing into the void. I can’t believe they brought the void with them. How did they get it past security?

Day 4

We’re not phoning it in on the last day of Gen Con 2022 here at Glass Cannon HQ. We’re just getting warmed up as we kick off the day with Jared Logan leading TroyJoeNoura Ibrahim and first-time Glassy Todd Stashwickthrough Vampire: The Masquerade. If that wasn’t enough, we’ll be playing around with Demiplane’s Nexus tools for VtM as well. If you enjoy your words with an extra vowel or two thrown in there, then this is the TTRPG for you. It’s gonna get Sunday Bloody Sunday at Booth #174 with Demiplane and kitschy vampires!

*

Indy Joe puts on his interview cap one last time here at our pop-up Twitchstudio as he sits down with our old friends Dan Tharp and Steve Barr from Syrinscape to talk about how great audio can take your next sesh from good to AMAZING. If you are headed to the Con, be sure to stop by Syrinscape’s Booth #1740 and be prepared to be blown away by their musical stylings!

*

We are ending it just like we started—with another trip to Paizo’s Dark Archive. Back in the GM chair, providing he can still stand up, is GCN CEO Troy Lavallee joined by the pre-GCP group of JoeSkid and McD along with some guy named Erik Mona. Yup, for the first time in almost 10 years, McD is gonna play a tabletop game with Skid, Troy and Joe, and we could not be more pumped! Will there be homemade Four Loko and a charcuterie spread? It’s really too early to say. Join us Sunday afternoon as we close out the Con in style!

*

Exhausted just reading all that? Imagine how we will feel after doing all that. The answer is, we will feel great! Nothing makes us feel better than being able to bring some fun and enjoyment to your days. The opportunity to stream everything we are producing at our pop-up Twitch studio live to all of The Naish who can’t be here with us physically this weekend has us FUCKING PUMPED! Being in front of such a large audience means that you may see some new faces on the Twitch chat as they come to check us out for the first time. Let’s show them what a kind, smart and funny community they are coming to hang with! Again, we could never have done all of this without your love, support and encouragement, so thank you. We’ve also gotta give one more shout out to all the folks who helped us make this happen.

So once again, a HUGE thanks to this year’s sponsors—PaizoSyrinscapeChaosiumNorse FoundryDemiplaneEvil Hat ProductionsOne Seven Designand Patreon.
