‘[DAREDEVIL] was kinda silly’ says BEN AFFLECK in new clip from CINEMABILITY.

Ben Affleck has spoken about playing the role of Matt Murdock in Daredevil, some 15 years after its release. The actor features in the new documentary CINEMABILITY, which explores inclusion in the media, and talks in significant detail about having to play a blind-man in the big-studio superhero film.

Affleck, who went on to play Batman, worked with Tom Sullivan to fine tune his performance. “One of the things that I really cared about in that movie was not just looking blind or coming across blind but knowing what it felt like”, Affleck says in the clip. “[Tom] was really patient with me and really helped me understand something I thought was really interesting artistically. I think that was the most interesting thing about the movie, frankly…which was kinda silly.”
