I will freely admit that I have been wanting a suitable long arm stand for my iPhone face time calls and planned unboxing-type videos, so I was intrigued to find out whether this particular product would suit my needs.

To begin with, the holder is surprisingly robust bearing in mind it’s fairly light weight and so provides a perfect balance perfect equilibrium of toughness and adjustability. This is in no little thanks to the cunning multi-segment telescopic aluminum-zinc alloy design and this allowing a multitude of adjustable formats.

I could envision this being perfect anywhere in the home, in the bedroom (easy, Tiger), Living Room, kitchen or office. Do you get the message?,,,,,,, It could be perfect ANYWHERE! As you can see from the image here, my choice of location is for ot to be fixed on the desk right next to my trusty, beautiful iMac. In fact, this holder could ne used with most office/computer type desks using the adjustable clamp base which can vary from 0-277mm.

You may be asking whether it is easy to install and adjust? – well even though I may be the king of having to add an additional 3 hours to any “Can easily be assembled in just………” standard instruction, even I found this a doddle by following the three (yes, three) simple steps.

So, it looks good, it works perfectly, it’s easy to set up and most importantly – no more tired arms. The only criticism I would make would be the inclusion of a solid resting base as well as the adjustable clamp base for a ‘stand-alone’ option – but that is just a minor quibble.

In terms of suitability for your specific device, I went for the SP0114, which is compatible with; iPhone 14/14 Pro/14 Pro Max/14 Plus/iPhone 13/13 Pro/13 Pro Max/13 mini/iPhone 12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max/12 mini/iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max/iPhone X XR XS Max/iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and almost all cell phones.

Once again, as with the Universal stand I mentioned earlier, the setting up and functionality is perfect for idiots like myself. The straightforward and intuitive process to pair it via Bluetooth and start streaming my frankly barmily eclectic collection from my audio library took a matter of seconds — there’s no further mystery, even for a noob like me!

As I was in a high-energy mood when reviewing this there was only one genre I felt would sufficiently do justice to this device – Come on down K-Pop!……well no – its Rock time baby!. As you can hopefully hear in the clip, the sound quality is excellent – high-quality stereo sound comes with no static noise or other kinds of interference. My only slight quibble would be the opportunity to increase the base level, something that I always want to take advantage of. As for the video quality – well apologies for the shaky quality, it was recorded before my first coffee of the day. Lets just say that Quentin Tarantino has little to worry about.
