Star Trek Adventures is a tabletop role-playing game developed by Modiphius Entertainment and licensed by CBS Consumer Products. It is set in the Star Trek universe and allows players to create their own Starfleet crew and explore the galaxy.

First of all, let me start by saying that Star Trek Adventures is a game that boldly goes where no game has gone before………thanks, i’ll get my coat. It’s the perfect mix of Star Trek lore, roleplaying, and tabletop gaming. As a fan of both Star Trek and roleplaying games, I was excited to give this game a try.

The game itself is well-designed, with a simple and easy-to-use system that captures the essence of Star Trek perfectly. The rules are intuitive and easy to understand, and the character creation process is a blast. The gameplay mechanics are also well-designed. The game uses a 2d20 system, which means players roll two twenty-sided dice to determine success or failure. The system also incorporates a momentum and threat mechanic, where players can accumulate momentum to perform better on tasks or spend threat to create complications for the crew.

The game’s storytelling is where it truly shines. The missions are engaging, and the game master has a wealth of tools at their disposal to create thrilling and cinematic experiences. The game’s dice system adds an element of chance and unpredictability, leading to some truly hilarious moments. One minute, you’re negotiating with a hostile alien race, and the next, you’re accidentally beaming down to the wrong planet entirely. Classic Starfleet shenanigans!
