In a video released today, Wizards of the Coast revealed details about their collaboration with Games Workshop, giving a behind-the-scenes look at how the two tabletop titans worked together to bring Warhammer 40,000 to Magic: The Gathering.

*

The four upcoming Warhammer 40,000 Commander Decks and three Secret Lair drops are the latest entries into Magic’s Universes Beyond – a way for fans to play Magic: The Gathering in fictional worlds beyond Magic’s planes.

*

This glorious collaboration offers a whole new way for Magic fans to play Commander by stepping into the carapace or power-armor of their chosen warlord and commanding a battle-ready army. There will also be three Secret Lair drops featuring not only Warhammer 40,000, but also Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and Blood Bowl.
